I have lived and worked in the grater Boston area for over twenty five years. Throughout this time I have worked with adolescents, their families, adults and couples. Prior to establishing my private practice, I worked in a range of settings including a psychiatric crisis team, psychiatric hospital units for children, teens and adults, a community mental health center and group practice.
During this time I have also had the pleasure of teaching the next generation of mental health professionals at several area graduate schools – Framingham State University and most recently as an Adjunct Faculty member at my alma-mater, Boston University’s School of Social Work.
I received my Master’s in Social Work in 1996. I then pursued post-graduate training at The Boston Graduate School of Psychoanalysis. Following that I completed the two year training program offered by the Psychoanalytic Couple and Family Institute of New England.
For the ten years I served on the Board of Directors for the Psychoanalytic Couple and Family Institute of New England (PCFINE). I was the founding Co-Editor of this organization’s newsletter and served as Co-President for two years. Previously I served on the Board of Directors for the NorthEastern Society for Group Psychotherapy.
